Jacksonville Criminal Lawyer Update for Jerry Sandusky Sentence

Sandusky Court Sentence

Sandusky sentenced to 30 – 60 years in prison after court hearing.

There is a “Breaking News” update in the Jerry Sandusky case.  He has been sentenced for 45 counts of child sex abuse.  Sandusky, former assistant football coach at Penn State, will serve 30 – 60 years in prison.  He could have been sentenced to a little as 10 years.  He could have received 200 years in prison.  Instead, he was sentenced to no less than 30 years and no more than 60 years.  This means that he will spend his life in prison.

The sentencing hearing took more than two hours.  The victims testified at the sentencing hearing.  Sandusky also spoke in the court room.  He stated that he did not do these “disgusting acts.”  Sandusky maintains his innocence after being convicted of sexually abusing young boys.  He was introduced to many of these boys through his charity.  Sandusky claims that he did not commit any child sexual abuse charges.  He states that his wife has been his only sex partner, and the allegations against him are false. Last night, an audio clip was released where Sandusky once again proclaimed his innocence (Sandusky Professes Innocence).
